Weis Markets Names New President/C.O.O.

hepfinger Mid-Atlantic supermarket chain Weis Markets, based in Sunbury, Pa., has named David J. Hepfinger president and c.o.o. Prior to joining Weis Markets, Hepfinger was s.v.p. of retailing and administration at Price Chopper, a 116-store chain based in Schenectady, N.Y. Hepfinger will report to Weis chairman Robert F. Weis, vice chairman Jonathan Weis, and Norman S. Rich, who will continue as c.e.o.
