Main squeeze

Aug 5, 2008

squeezeHealthier snacking on the go has become a lot more fun with the U.S. introduction of GoGo squeeZ, billed by French fruit manufacturer Materne as "the first and only squeezable, re-sealable, no-mess, all-natural applesauce in a portable pouch." Already a big seller in Europe--it's even featured in McDonald's Happy Meals in France--the product, which is packaged in a pouch originally developed by NASA for use by astronauts, was launched stateside by Westport, Conn.-based Green Seed, LLC after 12 months of extensive research. GoGo squeeZ comes in 12.7-ounce boxes of four 3.2-ounce pouches in Apple and Apple-Strawberry flavors, with a suggested retail price of $2.99. The Apple pouches are also available for individual sale, at a suggested 99 cents each. For additional information visit www.gogosqueez.com.
