helping to change this dichotomy, introducing a much-needed female
perspective into the upper echelons of food industry management by
taking the reins themselves.

recognizes some of the leaders—the best and the brightest—who by
example and direct action have proved that a woman’s place is in
the head office. These women—there are 62 of them recognized
here—represent all major sectors of the grocery industry:
